How Butch Harmon’s About Golf Performed
Butch Harmon’s About Golf is a solid instructional program that our testers enjoyed. Butch does a great job communicating the core ideas.
Our testers got a lot out of the “Specialty Shots” section of the program.
This section covers how to hit draws, fades, and how to play from the different lies you will encounter in a round of golf.
The “Putting” section also received high marks from our testers.
If there was one common complaint it was that the program didn’t contain enough drills. Our testers felt the swing would have been easier to learn with a few carefully designed drills.
The program sells for $79.95, which is similar or slightly more than comparable products.
One downside is that they do not offer a money-back guarantee like many other products. They only allow returns on unopened packages or damaged discs.
Golfers have different learning styles, different swing types, and no product is going to be perfect for everyone.
The money-back guarantee that many competing programs offer is really the only way to make sure you find the one that is right for YOU.
- Features Butch Harmon – a legend of golf instruction
- Covers broad range of topics
- Fundamentally sound, “traditional” swing that can work for most golfers
- Not a good refund policy
- Light on drills
The Bottom Line:
Butch Harmon About Golf is a solid instructional program. Butch is an elite instructor and the videos are well done.
It is a bit more expensive than some other options and doesn’t come with a money-back guarantee.
Also we would have preferred a few more drills to help train the swing and build muscle memory.
But all in all it is a solid program that many golfers could benefit from.
